Okinawa Time

Today I'd like to introduce Okinawa Time. This is an Okinawa cuisine restaurant. I went to the location at Yokohama in Kanagawa. This restaurant is near by Yokohama Station, At this restaurant, there are a lot of things from Okinawa, so you can enjoy the feeling you are staying in Okinawa. It's a welcoming atmosphere. At 12 :00 ~ 13:00, it is always crowded, because this time is company's lunch break, so many office workers visit. If  you like Okinawa cuisine, I really recommend it.


This restaurant has many Okinawa cuisine and alcohol menu items, such as goya chanpuru (bitter melon stir-fried with pork, tofu and other vegetables), soki soba, mimiga (Okinawan dish of pig ears), umibudou (sea grapes), awamori, cocktails and more. I ate goya chanpuru and soki soba. The goya chanpuru is bitter, but delisious. It is recommended to eat in the summer, because it is healthy. Canpuru means scramble (ごちゃまぜ). The soki soba is one of the typical cuisine of Okinawa. Soki means rib of pig. This restaurant has banquet course menus, reservation by phone or net, are necessary.

I think this restaurant is reasonable. At lunch time, you pay about 900 yen. At dinner time you pay about 3000 yen. For the banquet course, you pay about  3000 yen. The are 80 seats. The service at Okinawa Time is good, and there is a smoking area.


This restaurant accepts Master Card, VISA, JCB,  AMEX, Diners Club, NC, UFJ, iD. You pay at the cash register. This restaurant has parking area, but it is a joint.

I recommend going with a friend, family, your lover or co-workers.
